MELANOTAN 2

Melanotan 2 is a synthetic form of a melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) that contributes to pigment cells production. It acts by creating a protective skin layer that reduces the negative impact of ultraviolet light. At the same time, increased melanogenesis contributes to longer periods of active pigmentation. That’s why you can sunbathe only a few times a month when using this solution. Nevertheless, your perfect tan goal will be met while you will avoid the risk of skin cancer development due to iver exposure to UV rays.

Melanotan was first synthesised in the 1990s by a team of researchers headed by Victor J. Hruby and Mac E. Hadley at the University of Arizona. They wanted to find a way to artificially stimulate melanogenesis to allow people tanning without the need for exposure to harmful ultraviolet sun radiation. They aimed to reduce the risk of melanoma for those who spend a lot of time outside.

When the researchers synthesised Melanotan, they discovered that it was about a thousand times more potent than the natural peptide. A few years later, they developed a second analogue of MSH – an injectable solution that is currently available at our store.

The difference between Melanotan 1 and 2 is that the latter brings longer lasting results. It also gives benefits to males who suffer from Erectile Disfunction.
